The Minister of Energy announces the arrival of 400 electrical transformers to strengthen the supply of the capital and the States

Today, Minister of Energy, Al-Moatasem Advisor Engineer Ibrahim Ahmed, announced the completion of customs clearance procedures for the first batch of electrical transformers, numbering 400, at Osman Digna Port in Port Sudan, for their transfer to Khartoum State.
The minister stressed that this measure is part of the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Energy to meet the needs of the capital and other states for electrical transformers damaged following acts of sabotage, indicating that work is underway to secure electricity supply and restore the stability of the national grid.
He explained that the ministry is implementing technical and logistical plans to deal with the effects of the destruction of electrical infrastructure, so as to contribute to the improvement of basic services and support the return to normal life in the affected areas.
