The Minister of Finance undertakes to continue to support the state of central Darfur
The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Gabriel Ibrahim, is committed to continuing to support the Government of the Central State of Darfur, which is based in the capital of the State of the White Nile, the city of Rabak, and to solve the problems it faces.
The Governor of the Central Darfur, chief Mustafa Tambour, said in press statements after a meeting with the Minister of Finance today (Sunday) that the meeting is documented on the importance of continuing to recover and secure the State, then to move to the development and reconstruction stage, opening up investment opportunities and encouraging tourism, in particular since the central Darfur is rich in tourist resources.
Tambur said that the meeting was on the scale of the destruction of the state headquarters of more than 95% of fixed assets, as well as the systematic destruction of the University of Zalingi.
