The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its conviction of the terrorist bombing of Mar Elias Church in the Syrian capital, Damascus, last week by an Islamic State agent and caused the death and injury of a certain number of church visitors.
The ministry expresses its sincere solidarity with the government’s Syrian Arab Republic of the government and the people of this painful incident and sends its condolences to the families of the victims and to the missing in the accident, with wishes for the urgent recovery to the wounded.
