Deserved:
They believe they deserve special treatment or higher esteem than others.
Excessive self-worry:
Their thoughts and feelings revolve around themselves to the point of selfishness, and they may have difficulty sympathizing with the feelings of others.
Constant need for admiration: They always seek confirmation and praise from others and like to be praised
Lack of empathy:
They may be unable or unwilling to understand the feelings of others and view them with contempt.
Bragging about your accomplishments:
They boast of their accomplishments and exaggerate their abilities and talents.
Dealing with others with authority:
They may put others in a vulnerable position in order to reinforce their own sense of power and control.
Jealousy and aggression:
They may be jealous of others' successes or act aggressively if they feel their status is threatened.
Narcissistic personality disorder can take a moderate to severe form, and in some cases it can be linked to what is called “narcissistic personality disorder”, which is a psychological disorder that needs to be treated.
