The meeting discussed ways of cooperation and coordination between the two committees to establish the principles of international humanitarian law and to make it known. Especially in view of the current situation in the country.
Mr. Miho commended the country's efforts to ratify a number of conventions related to international humanitarian law and to enact national legislation and harmonize it with ratified international conventions. He also welcomed the cooperation with the National Committee for International Humanitarian Law and stressed that capacity building is the basis on which the work of the committee is based.
