The state -of -the -art tuberculosis program in Kassala has held a meeting to review the performance of volunteers working in the domestic visit program, with the aim of following patients with regular patients, detection of patients with patients and returning patients absent to receive treatment.

Khaled Bakhit Al-Sheikh, head of the Department of Partnerships of the Federal Ministry of Control of the Federal Ministry of Health, said in press statements today, on Tuesday, after the meeting, that the meeting discussed volunteer reports, problems and obstacles to which they faced during the implementation of home visits to patients with tuberculosis.

He stressed that the organization of the development health program had distributed 24 food baskets for patients with resistance tuberculosis, with the aim of helping them regularly in the treatment and improvement of their health, in a way that contributes to the complete recovery of the disease. He added that a certain number of cards and publications for patient registration had been received by the organization.

Khaled also thanked the organization of the Development Health Program for its support in the control of tuberculosis in the state of Kassala and the rest of the States.

For his part, Munira Bashhir Mohamed Saleh, coordinator of the organization for the Development Health Program in Kassala, said that the meeting had discussed many problems and obstacles facing volunteers in the implementation of home visits and the filling of work forms. She added that the meeting had examined the home visits reports, which had 37 visits during this month, with the two inhabitants of Lassala and Kashta Al -Qarba.

Munira stressed that food baskets were distributed today, Tuesday, to patients and recommended that motorcycles and vehicles be used to make the volunteers reach patients absent in terminal phase.
