The Nile opens new horizons for national documentation – Paths – ✍️ Mahfouz Abdeen

The meeting, which was chaired by the Acting Governor of the Nile and Minister of Culture and Information, Mustafa Mohamed Othman Al-Sharif, with senior state leaders, the Secretary General of the House of Documentation and archives, Dr. Abdel-Azim Tayfour and academic leaders from Nile Valley and Shendi universities. This is a regular meeting of the board of directors of the House of Documentation and Archives, and its agenda, if it appears to be the same, serves the objectives related to the Nile. It is the River State, but in its external and internal nature it serves the national objectives at the level of Sudan.

The same agenda was the focus of the meeting and was the subject of discussions and deliberations, such as the Sudan Memory Project and the Dictionary of River Nile Countries, which were adopted by the state government and Nile Valley and Shendi Universities.

These two documentation projects are enough to reorganize the problem of the National Archives, pillaged and destroyed by the rapid support militia. This is a targeting that aimed to wipe out Sudanese identity, culture and heritage by targeting institutions concerned with Sudanese identity such as the National Archives, museums, universities, schools, radio and television.

The aim, as we know, is to empty Sudan of its population through expulsion, killings, displacements and deaths due to disease and food shortages, in order to settle the Arab diaspora from Africa West.

This is why the erasure of Sudanese identity was one of the priorities of this great conspiratorial plan which wanted to swallow up the Sudanese state for the benefit of regional and international parties.

I believe that the idea of Nile State by documenting through these two projects is a national and national idea, and it can be generalized in all states of Sudan, especially since each state has a university, and there may be a number of institutions involved in the documentation process to adopt these two or other projects, and this may be in These states are voluntary institutions that can help support the preservation and re-documentation project of Sudanese identity.

The idea initiated by the Nile River State is a major national and patriotic idea that can be undertaken by the Transitional Sovereignty Council and be placed under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Lieutenant General Abdel. Fattah Al-Burhan personally, because Sudanese identity is Sudanese sovereignty that the Sudanese armed forces and people now defend. The battle for dignity, with the Federal Minister of Government as vice-president, the Federal Minister of Culture and Information as rapporteur. , and the State Ministers of Culture and Information as members of the National Committee for the Preservation of Sudanese Identity.

In this way, each State can have its own documentation center, which houses national documentation.

Like the (depository) system that supplies the National Library with all published publications, the Document House of each State provides the National Records House with all the documents it has, whether paper or digital, films, microfilms , newspapers, books or others. documents of national value, and therefore in this way Which was created by the Nile State and which is observed at the highest level under the leadership of the Deputy Governor and Minister of Culture and Information, Mustafa Al-Sharif , which already deals with the issue from a specialist point of view. This work can be presented by Nile State as a national project through which more work can be done to preserve the Sudanese identity, which it has always targeted, sometimes to annihilate, sometimes to destroy, as it were. This already happened when Sudanese radio was attacked from outside the country and from a neighboring country in the mid-80s of the last century, for no other reason than a political difference between it and the Sudan of the time , but she was talking about Sudanese radio because it represents a symbol of Sudanese identity and it is what united and unified the consciousness of the Sudanese nation.

The important thing in the idea and implementation of Nile State is to establish a documentation house in each state, and it is not limited to government documents and activities, but rather includes all operations of documentation and all known documentation methods, both traditional and modern. This is expected to enhance the preservation of these documents in all states of Sudan, against any attack or targeting, whether it is general targeting or specific targeting of the National Archives, many of these documents are preserved and safe from any attack. targeting, particularly digital archives. They may be preserved in all states and in international preservation repositories, as the General Radio and Television Authority previously did and maintained all records externally. The country feared that the radio and television library would be exposed. any fire due to an electrical short circuit or otherwise, or that any damage may occur to these records for any reason.

This proposal will become national with the same idea, and the Nile State will take the lead, just as it has taken the lead in many initiatives, the most important of which took place, notably after the Battle of Karama.
