The Nile seeks new sources to finance its development projects
Director of the Nile State Local Development Fund, Abu Bakr Muhammad Al-Amin, announced that the Fund presents new visions and ideas to seek new sources of revenue to finance development projects in the state.
He said during the meeting held in Shindi, in the presence of the executive director of Shindi locality, Khaled Abdul Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, and popular leaders, that the security situation in the country and the low income due to these circumstances must find new ways, outside of procedural restrictions, to finance projects that have come a long way in their implementation and are currently being implemented.
Al-Amin called for the establishment of public joint stock companies offering rapid production and profitable returns.
Executive Director of Shendi Locality, Khaled Abdul Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, revealed that the investment forum organized by the locality resulted in more than (22) projects that reached advanced stages, but that the savings of energy pose a particular problem, since all of these projects were designed to use solar energy.
Speakers listed the reasons that stand in the way of these ideas, such as lack of energy, financing, investment laws, etc.
