The North Kordofan State Journalists' Initiative to Advocate for Health Issues held a brainstorming meeting with the Director of Makkah Eye Hospital in El Obeid, Mr. Omar Abdullah Omar. Therefore, our initiative came to defend health problems (Al-Obeid Eye Hospital First) due to its importance, taking into account eye patients in case of problems. an increase in the prevalence of chronic diseases (diabetes – blood pressure – kidney failure – multiple accidents – wars – bacterial and viral infections).
Kendwa explained in his explanation to the director of Mecca Hospital that the initiative was approved by several official and popular bodies, and that the Director of State Security and Intelligence Services, Brigadier General Al -Awad Muhammad Al-Awad, interacted with her with enthusiasm and sincerity, and he immediately oriented him on the need to defend the rehabilitation of Al-Ayoun Hospital so that he could return to service immediately. Their efforts actually began with the establishment of an environmental sanitation day and the supply of large capacity tanks. , and an inventory of the necessary needs was carried out. We, as initiators and in coordination with consultants and specialists in ophthalmology and surgery, ensure that the opening of the restart is done through the establishment of an ophthalmological camp for a period of three days, with several . parties participating in it, and all operations are restricted. In a related context, and in order for the El Obeid Eye Hospital to be ready to receive patients, the North Kordofan Journalists' Initiative provided very important equipment to begin the work, namely all plumbing equipment specified by the engineer of El Obeid Hospital (Omar) to connect the water network inside the buildings and rooms of the hospital, and between the underground and portable tanks of On (Al-Siba) so that the flow of water is easy for operation, and all rooms, bathrooms and. clinics and create a sanitary environment.
It should be noted that the specialists had previously stipulated that water would be connected to the operation and all other buildings, in addition to maintaining the hospital's electricity generator, so that the work would no longer stop.
In the context, Al-Zein Kendwa explained that the problem of the electric generator has been completely resolved, electricity has entered the buildings and we are waiting for the security apparatus to complete the maintenance of the air conditioners and install fans , office tools, as well as the plumbing tools which were purchased entirely through pure funding from the journalists, Kendwa added, saying: “Soon, the hospital will be ready (100%) to receive patients, and the Camp days will be announced because all partners are ready. , in order to serve the people of Greater Kordofan, neighboring states and Sudan in general.
