The Northern Governor confirms support efforts to finish the wind from the wind power plant in Dongola

The governor of the north of the lieutenant-general Abdel Rahman Abdel Hamid Ibrahim, Director General of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Urban Development of the State, met the engineer of Muhammad Sayed Ahmed Faqiri, and the director of the State electricity distribution company, engineer Mohamed Abdullah, to discuss the means of supporting the wind turbine in Dongola.
The governor received an enlightenment on the results of the visit to the delegation of alternative energies to Sudan Electricity Company for the State, where the discussions which took place with the delegation were examined during the completion of the remaining work of the project. It is planned that the station in the first step will produce 1 megawatts for the public network, with a production ceiling of up to 100 megawatts at the end of the project.
The Director General of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Urban Development in the State stressed the importance of the project to improve the production of alternative energy and limit dependence on traditional energy sources. The wind from the Dongola wind power plant is one of the important projects that will help provide electrical energy and improve the economic situation of the state.
The Governor also underlined the support of efforts to complete the project of a wind power plant in Dongola, noting the importance of the project in the supply of electrical energy and the improvement of the economic situation of the State. He underlined the need to work on the success of this vital project, which will have a positive impact on the State
