The People's Organization for Reconstruction and Development, in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), is distributing seeds to small farmers, amounting to 980,000 thousand tons of improved seeds in Sennar.
said Dr. Omar Habibullah Muhammad, Director of the Popular Organization for Reconstruction and Development, said in a statement to Sultanate Pulse that the project implemented the distribution of improved seeds to small farmers in Sinnar State after the organization lost the seed stock in Sinja locality due to the entry of the rebel militia, he said that the organization continues its work in the villages of Sinnar locality, and he added: About 980 thousand tons of improved agricultural seeds have been distributed to farmers for the 2024 season. to all farmers to pay attention to agriculture and not to leave the state out of the agricultural season.
He thanked the efforts of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for the partnership in implementing the project and the follow-up of the Minister of Agriculture of Sinnar State, Dr. Al-Sadiq Al-Hadi, who promised to provide agricultural services in safe areas of the state.
