Today, the Popular Resistance of Halfa locality held its consultative meeting in the consultative buildings of Wadi Halfa, during which it invited all leaders and symbols of society, including women, youth and mobilized.

The consultative meeting aimed to discuss the proposed project of popular resistance in the locality, under the slogan “One hand bears arms and one hand builds and rebuilds”.

In the presence of the President of the Supreme Committee for Mobilization and Vigilance and the Executive Director of the locality of Halfa, Mr. Abu Ubaida Mirghani Burhan, the Vice-President of the Supreme Committee for Mobilization and Vigilance, Mr. Ali Batik, the director of the administrative unit of Ibri and a number of leaders of the popular resistance in the locality of Halfa.

A member of the technical committee responsible for preparing the draft document of popular resistance, Mr. Ali Hashem Ali Muhammad Saleh, said that the technical committee formed under the leadership of the Executive Director and headed by Mr. Ali Hassan Batik held several meetings with a different specialization, each in his own field, and finally resulted in this draft document of popular resistance as a proposal from the local sections to the state presidency

This is considered a complete document and circulates in this global meeting of quality local leaders, notables and mobilizers to discuss it in order to arrive at a final formula which will be presented to the brothers of the state presidency.

Adding that this rich qualitative discussion currently taking place around the project leads to a final and exemplary project through which popular resistance will begin.

For his part, the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Mobilization and Vigilance, Executive Director of Halfa locality, Mr. Abu Ubaida Mirghani Burhan, praised the massive forces fighting on the battlefields so that we can enjoy peace. security and stability. Put the.

Stressing that the war is not just against rebel forces, but rather against a group of countries that have conspired against the country.

He called on young people who have not joined the popular resistance to join the training camps to defend the homeland and march alongside the surveying forces and other security forces.

Welcoming the popular resistance and its role in combating the advance of rebel forces in all states of Sudan.

Burhan added that the Sudanese people set a wonderful example by rallying behind the armed forces, raising the slogan: “We are all one army, one army, one people.”

Stressing that the Survey Forces are an ancient Sudanese institution that cannot be replaced or replaced by other forces.

He said that the popular resistance we are carrying out will be a support to the armed forces not only in war, but also in peace, construction and reconstruction.

In the same context, the deputy of the Supreme Mobilization and Vigilance Committee, Professor Ali Hassan Batik, saluted the armed forces who sacrificed their lives for the good of the homeland, and particularly thanked the forces of the Presidential Guard who foiled the plan at dawn. on April 15, presenting in half an hour thirty-eight martyrs among the best officers of the surveying forces.

He called on the armed forces and those tightening their grip on the rebels in the liquidation of Al-Jili and Al-Jazeera to a solid victory.

Emphasizing that this war has a different nature and has an invisible enemy known as sleeper cells, that is, infiltrators among the members of society, which requires raising the feeling of security to the highest possible degree by extending security.

He added that around 400 soldiers have been deployed to the locality, working to secure the locality from Sawarda, in the south, to Wadi Halfa, alongside regular forces.
