“Each person has the national number which has the right to obtain the passport without any political affiliation, unless there is a legal prohibition issued by the competent authorities against the person in accordance with legal and fair procedures.”
His Excellency added that before the year 2020, the legal prohibition allowed citizens to extract the passport as an identity document inside and outside the country, and he said: ” If the person is forbidden to travel, this does not prevent this from extracting the identification documents for him “, indicating that a modification of the list of lists in 2020 during the government (Hamdouk) stipulates that the competent authority should not issue any passport for any Sudanese which has been included in the prohibition lists, and therefore the person is prohibited to whom is prohibited to obtain the passport as a travel document and not as an identity document.
