The President of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces congratulates the Algerian President on the occasion of the anniversary of his country's independence

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General *Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan*, sent a telegram of congratulations to His Excellency President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria, on the occasion of the anniversary of his country's independence.
Al-Burhan said in his cable: “As you celebrate the anniversary of your country's independence, I am pleased to extend to you, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Sudanese people, my warmest congratulations and best wishes for progress, development and prosperity for your brotherly people, and for you good health and happiness.
The President of the Sovereignty Council affirmed his concern to strengthen the bonds of fraternity and to advance the distinguished relations of cooperation between the two countries in order to achieve the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.
