Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met today in Port Sudan with the delegation of the Popular Resistance in Sennar State.
The meeting discussed the role of popular resistance and its support for the armed forces to defend the homeland and its soil against rebel terrorist militias.
For his part, Al-Tom Hajo, member of the delegation, said in a press release that the meeting is part of the meetings in support of the armed forces, since he discussed the overall security situation in the State.
Al-Tom announced to the citizens of the state that victory would be near, calling on farmers to prepare well for the agricultural season.
Shawqi Mustafa Shawqi, a member of the delegation, said in a press release that the meeting addressed the general security situation and the challenges facing the state, emphasizing that the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council appreciated the support and the support of popular resistance and of all. sectors of the Sudanese people and their support for the armed forces as they wage the battle for dignity to deter terrorist rebel militias.
