The President of the Sovereignty Council meets the President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi

Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met today with Chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council, Muhammad Al-Manfi, on the sidelines of his participation in the work of the United Nations General Assembly currently being held in New York.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them, in addition to exchanging views on a number of issues of common interest.
The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council expressed Sudan's aspiration to advance and strengthen the distinguished cooperative relations between the two countries in all fields to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
For his part, Al-Menfi expressed his thanks to the President of the Sudan Sovereignty Council for the continued and permanent support to the State of Libya and its people, reiterating his country's “firm stance in favor of unity and the stability of Sudan and the realization of his country's aspirations. people towards stability, peace, security and development.
