The President of the Sovereignty Council receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptians Abroad
The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received today at his residence in Kigali, Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptians Abroad.
The President of the Sovereign Council praised the role played by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in supporting Sudan and its national institutions.
Commending the care and assistance his country provides to all Sudanese in its lands, he expressed his thanks to the brotherly Egyptian people for providing care, support and protection to their Sudanese brothers.
The Egyptian minister conveyed to the President of the Sovereignty Council the greetings of his brother, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, stressing Egypt's continued support for Sudan, its institutions, the unity and integrity of its lands, and its belief in the principle of non-violent interference in the internal affairs of countries.
Stating that his country is willing to respond to all humanitarian and relief needs to help the Sudanese people
The meeting discussed ongoing efforts to bring peace and stability to Sudan, stressing that his country will continue its efforts to help the Sudanese overcome the current crisis in a manner that preserves the unity and territorial integrity of Sudan and supports the institutions of the Sudanese state.
