The Qatari Red Crescent, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forest
The Qatari Red Crescent inaugurated the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests in the city of Port Sudan.
The Minister of Agriculture, Abu Bakr Al -Bushra, affirmed his happiness with the support provided by the state of Qatar to agricultural companies for the various states of Sudan. Al -Bushra has expressed happiness that there are those who resist this proud people and contribute to the years of their test and the Qatar of fraternal and friendly countries and we are proud of their friendship and I am here to launch the start of This project presented by the Qatari Red Crescent and I would like to thank the Sudanese Red Crescent and all those who contributed to this work.
For his part, the ambassador of the State of Qatar to Sudan, Mr. Ibrahim Al -Sada, said that the project to earn a living is the beginning of the Red Crescent Qatari and that we work with many international organizations to support Agriculture and agricultural mechanisms and create employment possibilities to return to their regions in a number of states in Sudan.
Dr. Salah Al -Daak, director of the Qatari Red Crescent in Sudan, explained the start of the start of project activities to gain economic and economic empowerment in Sudan, which is implemented by the Qatari Red Crescent in Sudan in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and a number of partners.
It should be noted that the activities of the project to earn a living and economic empowerment depend on two basic components, namely agricultural and other activities which mean the increase and improvement of income and are based on supporting the support of associations for women. In the agricultural part of the initial project, it strives to provide agricultural inputs with five agricultural tractors (tractors) to support owners of small properties to enlarge and increase the area planted with crops, improve agricultural production and food security , and increase the income area of 2,250 families such as the first Gedaref- Nord stage of Kordofan- North-Nil White Nile.
During the last period, many citizens have lost their livelihoods due to war and travel, and currently with the increase in the country's safe area, the need to find opportunities to support stability and support An economy for Sudanese families with the integration of roles and in coordination, the Red Crescent of Qatar presented many programs during the previous period, is to support the displaced of food and to reduce poverty.
