However, until today, the dam administration has not paid much attention to the orchard owners by quickly compensating them with alternative lands, knowing that the flooded orchards were the ones their owners depended on for their livelihood and that this was the only financial income from which they could benefit. the families of these farmers who own the orchards depend on it.
A number of governors were appointed in Gedaref State, but as usual, no governor who assumed the presidency of Gedaref State entered into the file of these oppressed people and then left .
Without achieving any result in this matter, which would be compensation for the owners of the orchards in question…
Today, His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Hassan assumed the position of Governor of Gedaref State. He is the son of the State and counts on these brothers concerned with the management of dams.

We therefore request the Governor of Gedaref State, His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Hassan, to provide justice to the affected people by contacting the dams administration and working towards planning and allocation of land nearby of the lake and working on their repair and investment as quickly as possible. and the return to production of these orchards is certainly a plus.
