The role of research centers in supporting the modern Sudanese state – Paths – ✍️ Dr. Naglaa Hussein Al-Makabrabi
Perhaps the role will increase with the scientific and cognitive support and the amazing results of the questionnaires presented to public opinion, which healed the wounds, especially after the impending war of 2023 AD, which our armed forces were able to forcefully repel, working to prepare the local political environment for scientific engagement and the new vision of the future of the country against negative or positive influences, creating a strong state that can advance on the one hand with its people and its knowledge and on the other hand with its components. And its rich resources, and thirdly, its demographic and geographic diversity, and fourthly, and its different ideologies, if treated in a positive manner, and fifthly, its bright youth, and that is what distinguishes it as a young country.
Here, let me salute the Arab Expert Center, which affirmed that Sudan is capable of creating decision-making centers that support Sudanese governments in time and space, and making it a laboratory to address economic, environmental, political, social and cultural problems and threats and establish a scientific benchmark through percentages that control opinion and identify strengths and weaknesses through which guidelines can be established and policies changed to provide a turning point in the face of a particular threat.
The center is perhaps one of the most important pillars of support for society and the state and a sign of Sudan’s humanitarian and reform problems. Attention must therefore be paid to research centers and their development, as well as to the creation of specialized centers in the fields necessary for the country, particularly in the field of development and economic and social renaissance. It is a call to the State to ensure that it consolidates science and industry with the federalism of the place. Here I am not talking about government federalism, but scientific federalism aimed at enabling and localizing related science. Considering the natural characteristics of the specific states of the country, perhaps this is a topic to which we can dedicate a special space, God the Almighty willing.
Through this, each ministry must create a research center or a special research unit that supports its decisions and addresses its problems. The centers should pay attention to research exchanges with foreign countries, especially those with similarities in terms of nature, climate, geography, culture and mode of governance, as well as Western targeting which aspires to achieve our economic gains on the surface, but aspires to undermine our minds and erase our existential and historical identity of which we are proud.
