The Second Scientific Day of the Ansar al-Sunnah Muhammadiyah Group in the Nile State… War from Multiple Points of View
π’ The hall of the Islamic Cultural Club of Shindi was the scene of the second scientific day organized by the Ansar al-Sunnah Muhammadiyah group, where the theme of war was approached from multiple angles, including medical, psychological, economic and social aspects. This event complements the first scientific day, which had highlighted many issues and challenges facing societies in the context of armed conflicts.
π’ Three scientific articles were presented that highlight the consequences of war and its multiple effects on individuals and society. Money and lives are the price, but what are the psychological, economic and social repercussions that result from these conflicts?
π’ The first article began by addressing war from a medical and psychological perspective. The article was presented by Professor Suleiman Al-Kamel and addressed the effects of armed conflict on mental health.
His Excellency Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Ibrahim Farah presented an analysis of the psychological effects of war on individuals, especially among soldiers and civilians. The discussions focused on the health and psychological effects of stress resulting from war and how it can affect the personal and social level. The need for scientific research in this context was one of the main points raised, indicating the urgency of better understanding these phenomena.
π’ The second paper dealt with war from an economic perspective and was presented by Dr. Amir Abdullah Muhammad Ahmed. The costs of war, its effects on the local economy, and the impact of these conflicts on economic resources and opportunities are discussed. Participants highlighted the impact of war on small and medium-sized enterprises and employment in the community. The social dimensions associated with the economic situation after conflicts were also analyzed, as well as how they can affect social stability. Urgent calls were made to ensure that scientific research is used to restructure economic powers in post-conflict periods.
Speaking about war as an influential factor in family relations, Sheikh Dr. Hassan Al-Hawari presented the third paper dealing with war from a social perspective. The paper focused on the motives of war and the social effects on families and communities.
π’ Dr. Abdul Wahab Abdullah Youssef Ibrahim spoke about how social relationships are affected by armed conflict and family disintegration. The critical importance of understanding the social effects of war was widely debated, demonstrating the need for research strategies that re-enforce the social cycle.
π’ Sheikh Dr Abdul Hafeez Al-Adasi participated, commenting on the hadith.
π’Thanks to the program coordinator, Sheikh Dr. Specialist Ahmed Babiker Fadl Al-Mawli, who made all this possible through good arrangement, management, organization and coordination.
At the end of the scientific day, it became clear that war is not just a military conflict, but rather a complex phenomenon that affects many aspects of life. More scientific research is needed to fully understand the magnitude of this phenomenon and its effects on society. Understanding these multiple dimensions can help provide more effective solutions to the challenges facing conflict-affected communities. A call for action and interaction between academics and local communities was at the center of the agenda, reflecting the importance of optimal collaboration to overcome future challenges.
