The Secretary General of the Khartoum State Government, Mr. Al-Hadi Abdel-Sayed, highlighted the importance of the role of standards and metrology as one of the state's monitoring tools to control the quality of goods and consumables in order to ensure public safety for citizens, fight against commercial fraud and prevent the entry of damaged goods into markets outside the country.
