The Seed of Dignity…The Harvest of Freedom – (5)…The Savior in Times of Collapse ✍️ Rashan O'Shea
Even though the major industrial powers are in difficulty, living in dark fears and the European economy has been suffering from recession since 2018, its productivity is not increasing and its demographics are declining. There is a flagrant lack of investment and the fear of total paralysis.
It is true that capitalism in Europe and America created enormous wealth, but it caused financial deficits and excessive indebtedness, which opened the door to economic stagnation and depression.
With the global economic collapse, and while our country is experiencing a war that has destroyed the greenery and land, destroyed the industrial infrastructure and most of the production capacities, and the militias have looted the foreign exchange reserves of the Bank of Sudan and the currencies that were printed and others that were not completed, most of the Al-Jazeera project and the entire Darfur and Kordofan have disappeared. However, the precious metal saved Sudan from collapse during the darkest periods of the country.
The revenues from “gold” for the period from January to August 2024 amounted to approximately (164,653,085,495) Sudanese pounds, and the export revenues amounted to (1,204,583,690) dollars. Gold production and export revenues contributed to filling the huge deficit in the Sudanese economy and the general economy. budget and support the cost of spending on the war.
The growth in gold production and, consequently, export revenues is the result of the decisive measures taken by the Mineral Resources Corporation and the Ministry of Mines towards exporters and gold miners (companies and private companies). The role of economic security has become predominant, especially after the recent adoption of the General Law on Information.
The “savior” can only come from those with strong national convictions, that is, men who do not treat national issues vaguely. This is not an exaggeration, but rather a description of the great efforts made by the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company and then the Ministry of Mines, in order to combat the smuggling of gold, which was causing a waste of its revenues.
The recipe for recovery came from the decisive and tough measures taken by the Mineral Resources Company. It has a bitter taste that is hard to swallow for the gold currency manipulators who have deprived the Sudanese of their well-being, their freedom and their environment.
