The State Finance Commission for Health Insurance is studying the treatment of payment arrears and the methods of collecting contributions.
Today, the State Finance Committee for Health Insurance held its first meeting in the hall of the North Kordofan Insurance Branch, headed by Mr. Al-Hadi Nasser Mounir, Chairman of the Committee. Through his speech, he reviewed the tasks and competencies of the committee that works on studying, processing and paying arrears, presenting the financial report, collecting contributions and providing new sources of income for the health insurance so that it can continue its treatment programs towards subscribers to the institutions and on how to settle its debts.
Dr. Khattab Abdeen Al-Samani, Director of State Health Insurance, gave a detailed explanation of the debts related to the insurance. He said in his speech that the payment process greatly contributes to the continuation of the insurance work, mentioning the communication of the insurance with the center regarding the arrears and their deadline.
Prof. Musa Yusuf, Secretary of the State Zakat Office, said that the office has put in place a number of measures and solutions on how to manage the arrears related to the Zakat Office.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Al-Hadi Nasser, Chairman of the Committee, confirmed their effort to develop solutions that contribute to settling all arrears and debts.
It is worth noting that the committee is composed of Ms. Masarat Al-Imam Al-Raya, Dr. Khattab Abdeen, Director of Social Health Insurance, Mr. Musa Youssef, Secretary of Zakat Diwan, Mr. Muhammad Haj Nour, Director of Al-Obeid Refinery, Social Institutions, Professor Muhammad Musa of the Private Sector, Dr. Hamid Dhawal Al-Bayt and Professor Al-Sadiq Muhammad Rajab, Health Insurance.
