The state of the Nile aims to cultivate a million acres during the current summer season

The Minister of Agriculture of the State of the Nile, Eng. Salah al -Din, announced that his ministry was aimed at developing a million acres during the summer season for this year
The Nile Minister of Agriculture said that this season witnessed an increase in the target area of more than (300) acres compared to the previous season, which was (650) acres, with an increase in a percentage of (35%).
The engineer Salah Karaqa explained that this area is divided into rainfall irrigation, which is the largest zones of approximately (800) thousand acres and the narrator is approximately (170) thousand acres and the rest of the Al -Fadhi irrigation.
And that most of this targeted area is dedicated to corn cultivation and the rest for food and vegetables.
The Minister of Agriculture of the State of the Nile Salah Karaf revealed that the productivity of last year covered local needs and overflowed and that the targeted increase of this year is for greater insurance and an increase in strategic stocks of corn.
The Minister made the efforts made by his ministry with the responsible authorities and with other partnerships for the success of this summer season, God disposed and successful.
