The Egyptian city of El Alamein is preparing to organize an important media event, the second edition of the summit of creativity of the media for Arab youth, organized by the Arab Academy for Sciences, Technology and Maritime Transport. In the slogan “Innovative media … Pioneer acts”, the summit seeks to allow young people to monitor the rhythm of radical transformations in the media industry, in particular with the technological revolution and artificial intelligence.
The summit presents itself in a decisive period because the world media scene changes at an incredible speed. The media is no longer just a way to report news, but have rather become an influential strength based on advanced technology. As Dr. Tariq Saada, the media captain in the Arab Republic of Egypt, explained today in technological knowledge and development.
The summit aims to fill the gap between traditional generations in the media and the young generation which has the capacity to interact with the tools of the modern era. The summit will combine media pioneers, content manufacturers, creators and ambitious young people, to exchange experiences and discuss vital axes such as artificial intelligence in the media, digital security and the effect of technology on content writing.
It is a golden opportunity for young Arabs to present themselves to the world and to prove that they are able to participate effectively in the manufacture of the media, not only as consumers of technology, but as manufacturers and creators.
In the current circumstances, Sudan is going through a difficult period that throws a shadow in all sectors, including the media. This crisis has led to the displacement of a large number of young Sudanese, including the media and journalists, to neighboring countries, led by Egypt.
Consequently, the participation of young Sudanese journalists residing in Egypt at this summit is not only an opportunity, but an inevitable necessity. They have a unique vision and rich experiences. These are witnesses of historical events that have changed the face of their country. These experiments can enrich discussions at the top and add a human and practical dimension to discuss the challenges of media coverage, especially in times of crisis.
In addition, their presence at the top will come back to them with great advantages, in particular the acquisition of knowledge and skills, while they learn the latest technologies in the media industry, such as artificial intelligence, and how to use them to produce innovative and effective content, then fields of communication and relationship creation. The summit will provide them with a platform to communicate with their Arab counterparts for young people, as well as with experts and investors, who can open new horizons in their career, and the summit helps them to support and refine their skills and their media capacities, and allow them to use the media as a tool to provide their voice and their country to the world in the world in a modern and influential way.
As Dr. Tariq Saada said, the nation has great hopes for young Arabs. From this point of view, young people from Sudanese media should be an effective part of these hopes. Their participation will be a strong message that they have not abandoned their aspirations and that they are able to add to the Arab civilization, not only by preserving it, but by helping to make its bright future.
