Khartoum lived in all its three cities (Khartoum, Bahri, Omdurman), one of the worst crises in its modern history, after it became an area of war, and witnessed the collective trip, and state institutions were absent for almost three years. Today, with the beginnings of the gradual return of the population, an environmental disaster and complex health emerges, which prefigures serious dangers on the life of citizens and the future of the city.

After having communicated with doctors and specialists in general health and the environment, the following was monitored:
First: the presence of a large number of bodies decomposing in the houses, the streets and under the rubble without healthy burial, which led to:
Soil pollution and groundwater.
The spread of toxic odors, bacteria and viruses.
-The accumulation of household, medical and industrial waste without any interference from the competent authorities.
Destroy wastewater and sewer networks, causing a mixture of wastewater with drinking water.
-Pupand at the scale of mosquitoes and insects due to stagnant water, abandoned houses and a change in vital environment.
The deterioration of the state of houses and public institutions and their pollution with dangerous environmental factors such as humidity, fungi and contaminated air.
Second: diseases that currently prevail among the return population:
Hemorrhagic fever: Due to Aedes SPP and certain rodents.
Acute malaria and treatment resistance.
Skin diseases of the spleen resulting from pollution and mold.
Cases of food and water poisoning.
Standardized infectious diseases are back to appear as cholera and typhoid.
The emergence of strange and dangerous insects that were not before is likely to be new vectors for unknown diseases.
Third: the treatments offered according to experts:
Environmental treatment:
-The bodies and waste in a healthy manner with the help of international organizations.
-Ciceansing districts with pesticides and disinfectants.
-Rhabilitation of sewer networks and water networks.
Create temporary minute minutes to get rid of waste.
Health treatment:
Opening temporary health emergency centers in each district to diagnose cases.
Urgent vaccination campaigns against cholera and yellow fever.
Publish mobile medical units to serve the return districts.
Distribution of preventive tools such as treated mosquitoes and sterilizers.
Insect and mosquito control:
Use of biological pesticides and air spraying.
Reduce ponds and swamps.

The involvement of international and local organizations in technical and financial support.
Launch of an urgent national plan for the environment and anti-epidemics.
Put a clear protocol to gradually return citizens while guaranteeing examination and care.
Rehabilitation and training of local health executives to deal with emerging diseases.
Khartoum is not only the capital of a homeland, but his beating heart, and his return means the return of hope, but that cannot be made without a complete health and environmental vision.
Post -War is no less dangerous, and the battle must now start against diseases and environmental death, to send the capital of the rubble.
