This came in the presence of a number of members of the Northern State government, the leader of the popular resistance in the locality of Dongola, Major General (M) Dr. Prince Muhammad Taha Diab, the head of the Information and Programs Committee of the Supreme Committee for Mobilization and Popular Resistance, Brigadier General (M) Essam El-Din Ali Abdel Rahman, and a number of members of the Supreme Committee for Mobilization and Popular Armed Resistance, a group of military and security leaders and families of the martyrs of the battle of Karama, under the generous patronage of the Executive Director of Dongola Locality, Supervisor of the Popular Resistance in the locality, Dr. Makkawi Al-Khair Al-Waqi'.
Abdul Rahman praised the efforts of the Dongola Locality Women's Committee of Popular Resistance and the Social Welfare Division and their care for the families of the martyrs of the Karama battle and those injured during the operations.
He stressed that the martyrs of the Battle of Karama will be recorded in letters of light in the pages and history of Sudan.

He praised the efforts of the Committee of Women of the Popular Resistance of the locality of Dongola and the Social Protection Committee and their attention to the families of the martyrs of the Battle of Karama and the wounded of the operations.
He pledged to take care of the families of the martyrs through the Social Welfare Division.
In the same vein, the director of the State Martyrs Organization and chairman of the Social Welfare Committee of the Popular Armed Resistance, His Excellency Colonel Ammar Al-Faki Abdel Samad, confirmed his concern for the families of the martyrs and explained the role of the Social Welfare Committee towards the families of the martyrs.
Referring to the inspection visits to the families of the martyrs in the seven localities of the state and the creation of an integrated database for all the families of the martyrs to facilitate the process of providing them with the necessary support.
He announced the launch of the Simple Program to sponsor the orphans of the families of the martyrs of the battle of Karama and the wounded of the operations through the form prepared for this purpose.
For her part, the Chairwoman of the Women's Committee of the Supreme Committee of Vigilance and Popular Resistance in the locality of Dongola, Siham Abdel Latif, renewed the efforts and support of the committee to the armed forces and the care of the families of the martyrs of the Battle of Karama, and greeted all those who contributed and participated in the program.

The representative of the families of the martyrs, Rabia Ali Yousry, praised the efforts of the Martyrs Organization, the Popular Resistance and philanthropists for their generosity towards the families of the martyrs.
The celebration was also attended by the Awakening Band and the Sons of Martyrs, who performed the national anthems of the armed forces.
