The vice-president of the Transitional Sovereignty Council speaks at a conference on the fight against the Rapid Support rebellion

The Vice Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Agar Air, confirmed that the war that Sudan is currently experiencing has united the Sudanese people and created a great alignment behind the state and the armed forces.

This came when he addressed the Counter-Insurgency Rapid Support Symposium in Port Sudan City today, in the presence of a member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Abdullah Yahya, the Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Graham Abdul Qadir, Governor. of the Red Sea, heads of commissions and media professionals.

The Rapid Support Militia discussed the causes and ways to combat it, stressing that it represents an ethnic group of the Arab diaspora that sought to seize power, exploiting sabotage, violence, looting and theft, and motivated by an external agenda. The symposium also addressed popular mobilization, its positive and negative aspects, calling for the need to put in place controls in this regard, in addition to the importance of activating the Disarmament Commission.

Agar also stressed that the war represents the birth of a new page in Sudan's history to establish a unified national army.

A number of participants provided talks on popular mobilization, popular resistance and how to build a state.
