The war in Sudan plunges the country into a spiral of violence and suffering…! – Something for the homeland – ✍️ Mr. Salah Ghariba See More
The war in Sudan, which broke out in April 2023, between the army and rebel Rapid Support militias, continues in a spiral of violence and suffering, leaving behind massive destruction and heavy loss of life. has transformed into an urban war, in which heinous crimes are committed, killing and intimidation of civilians, forcing hundreds of thousands of people to flee and migrate in search of safety. In addition to human losses, war takes a heavy toll on exhausted people. The Sudanese economy is exacerbating living crises and cutting off access to basic services, not to mention deteriorating health conditions and the spread of disease.
However, amidst this darkness, a glimmer of hope appears, represented by the steadfastness of the Sudanese army. In recent weeks, the army has launched counterattacks against the rebel militias, and has been able to regain control of several cities and lift the siege of some areas. These victories have also rekindled the flame of hope in the souls of the Sudanese, and confirm the army's determination to protect the homeland and defeat the rebels.
However, efforts are still underway to end this devastating civil war. We hope that all parties concerned will put the interests of Sudan and its people above all else and strive to end the bloodshed and achieve peaceful solutions that restore security and stability in the country.
Sudan, with its valiant army and determined people, is capable of overcoming this ordeal and emerging stronger and more united. However, this requires that the international community provide real and effective support for peace efforts and strive to address the humanitarian emergencies and crises that the Sudanese people are suffering. Sudan deserves a better future, a future of peace and prosperity.
