To my family on the island.. – The glory of the word – ✍️ Umm Wadah

We must be aware and understand that the word war carries all expectations, everything possible and impossible.

We must recognize that the word war has given us a lot of maturity and insight, and that we no longer approach it with emotion or joy.

This maturity made us aware and understand how the army manages this battle with consistency, strength and concentration.

This maturity made us understand and internalize that a city can fall or that a force can withdraw, but that it will inevitably return with the determination and perseverance of men.

This is what made us stop, until now, from asking ourselves the question that hurt us how and why the island fell, because I have confidence that it will be liberated and that all recent events will follow.

This maturity makes me tell you that we must affirm and renew our confidence in our armed forces and all their borderless security institutions.

We stop wondering when Al Jazeera will be released, a question that puts pressure on your children and brothers in the army who face a bitter war in El Fasher, El Obeid and Khartoum.

By God, I haven't felt as sad in the past year as I did when Madani fell, because it was the city that Khartoum relied on after being betrayed, so it became the kiss of Sudan and its beating heart. God testifies that I did not feel sad for my house, which was destroyed and I was driven out of it, just as I was sad for Madani, its inhabitants and its visitors, but I am convinced that it will be restored by the leadership of men and their efforts. So be patient and be patient, for God’s victory is near.
