Turkish President receives President of Sovereignty Council

Today, at the Presidential Palace in Ankara, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.
The meeting focused on the progress of Sudanese-Turkish relations and prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries.
Lieutenant General Al-Burhan briefed the Turkish President on the developments in Sudan and the efforts being made to achieve peace and stability, highlighting the depth of the eternal relations between Sudan and Turkey, highlighting the historical links between the two friendly peoples.
