Under the slogan “A safe environment…a better future”…the deputy governor of the Nile launches a vast campaign of environmental sanitation

*`Deputy Governor of Nile`* Minister of Culture, Information and Communications of Nile State, Professor *Mustafa Muhammad Othman Al-Sharif* praised the approach of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports in paying attention to the health of the environment and activating the role of youth and sports in these targeted programs that contribute to the development of the national spirit and strengthening the belonging of young people

This happened today at the opening of a large environmental awareness campaign organized by the State Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, in partnership with the Family Planning Association and in coordination with the locality of Atbara.

The Minister praised the role of youth in responding to popular mobilization, mobilization and resistance, stressing the importance of benefiting from the successes achieved during the autumn season to strengthen the role of youth in the field of agriculture and agricultural development. The Minister also called for the need to pay attention to youth centers and develop them to become an incubation environment for young people and contribute to their rehabilitation and training in various fields.

For her part, Professor Hawa Muhammad Idris, Chairperson of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports of Nile State, confirmed that the campaign aims to raise the level of environmental awareness among citizens, noting that health and preservation of the environment is a shared responsibility that falls on everyone.

In turn, Mr. Osama Majzoub Al-Labib, Executive Director of Atbara Locality, stressed the importance of involving the community in environmental awareness and guidance efforts. Al-Labib stressed that his locality is working hard to exploit all its capabilities to improve the environment, calling on citizens to cooperate effectively to maintain public cleanliness.

The speakers highlighted the importance of the partnership between the Higher Council for Youth and Sports, the Family Planning Association and the locality of Atbara in organizing this campaign, noting that this cooperation reflects the common commitment to environmental protection. The importance of benefiting from this partnership to implement more environmental projects in the future was also highlighted.

The Deputy Governor, the Minister of Health, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, the Executive Director of the Atbara Locality, the Director of the Family Planning Association and the official and popular events launched the kick-off of the environmental sanitation campaign at the Atbara People's Market, which was accompanied by awareness-raising activities aimed at educating citizens on the importance of preserving the environment. The event attracted great interaction from traders and citizens who pledged to work together to achieve the campaign's goals.
