Urgent support from Direct Aid Society for displaced people in the east of the island
The Direct Aid Society continues to provide assistance to the displaced, with the generous support of the State of Kuwait, and with urgent support, it has targeted 500 displaced families from East Jazira, arriving in the locality of New Halfa .
Food baskets were distributed in several camps, namely Al-Burhaniya camp, Al-Rashayda neighborhood camp, Al-Jamlounat, Sit Al-Habayeb, Village 24 camp, Al-Mazraa, Village camp 19, Square camp 15 and Square camp 10, in addition to the Stadium camp. These supports were received with welcome and invitations by the displaced brothers, and through the testimonies from the camps, the families expressed their deep gratitude to the donors from the State of Kuwait for providing a complete basket including flour and lentils . , corn, sugar, milk powder and blankets In addition, the deputy executive director of the locality of New Halfa, Oshik Ahmed Ibrahim, praised the rapid intervention of the association and its support for the campsites, noting that this support has greatly alleviated the pressure the locality is witnessing due to the massive influx. of displaced people.
