Vice President of Sovereignty Council meets Director General of Arab Organization for Agricultural Development

The Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Aqar Air, was briefed on the activities and programs undertaken by the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development in Sudan and the efforts made to develop the agricultural sector in Sudan.
During his meeting today in his office in Port Sudan with Professor Ibrahim Adam Al-Dukhairi, Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, His Excellency stressed the need for concerted efforts and building effective and distinguished partnerships with the relevant authorities, committing to overcome all obstacles and challenges facing the implementation of future activities and programs aimed at achieving food security and agricultural development.
For his part, Professor Ibrahim Al-Dakhiri explained in a press release that the meeting discussed the possibility of intensifying the work and activities of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development in Sudan, stressing that the organization has provided its services in the field of training, capacity building and implementation projects in the fields of agricultural development, both plant and animal, in addition to the fisheries, forestry and pasture sectors.
His Excellency stressed the organization's keenness to expand the scope of its activities and programs in Sudan and to support the state's efforts to achieve food security and sustainable agricultural development.
