Vice President of the Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Aqar Air, praised the great role played by churches and bishoprics in promoting religious coexistence, freedom of religion and spreading societal peace.

During his meeting today in his office in Port Sudan, His Eminence briefed the Episcopal Church delegation, led by Most Rev. Simeon Faragallah, Bishop of the Episcopal Church of the Central States, of the proposed programs and projects to provide social and health services to war-affected citizens and families in need, particularly in Blue Nile State, pledging to support service and development projects.

His Excellency stressed the need to activate activities and programs that are in the interest of the citizen and that promote the values ​​of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence between the components of society.

For his part, Archbishop Simon Faragallah explained that the delegation informed the Vice President of the Sovereignty Council of the activities and programs offered by the churches to the citizens of Blue Nile State, especially to the displaced people affected by the war , through a certain number of productive activities. projects for families and the implementation of awareness and orientation workshops on how to manage service projects and achieve autonomy.
