Visit of the Director of the Nile State Community Police Department to Shendi locality

⭕ In recent days, Shendi locality witnessed an important visit by Police Major Muhannad Khorasani, Director of the Nile State Community Police Department. He was accompanied during this visit by the director of the community police department of the locality of Atbara. Lieutenant Bashir Abdullah Al-Bashir and Police Lieutenant Hammad Mustafa Al-Bashir. They were received by Police Lieutenant Ayman Hussein Muhammad and a number of members of the Shendi locality community committee, reflecting the importance of direct cooperation between the police and the community.
Mr. Major's visit focused on identifying community centers operating in Shendi locality, as well as strengthening cooperation with these centers.
⭕ These centers seek to reduce the burden on policing by activating the role of the local community. Major Khorasani explained the importance of operating these centers to ensure effective support on security matters.
⭕ Major Khorasani gave a comprehensive explanation of the achievements of community policing in Nile State, highlighting the positive impact of this administration on the level of local security. The locality of Shendi recorded the greatest share of achievements, which testifies to the effectiveness of the role of community policing in maintaining security. These achievements demonstrate continued efforts to address the security challenges facing the country.
⭕ Major Khorasani also stressed the need to involve citizens in the security operation, calling for all support to be given to the community policing department in Shendi locality. This call was well received by the local police department, with the Shendi Police Director expressing interest and full support for the efforts being made by members of the community police. He promised to allocate an additional vehicle to support this department, reflecting his continued commitment to improvement and development.
⭕ The director and the accompanying delegation visited the Souq Al-Dim community center and the Square 23 center, where they communicated with the forces working in these centers. He exhorted them on the importance of maintaining the security and safety of citizens. He also met members of community committees who expressed their complete satisfaction with the performance of the staff of these centers. These meetings reflect the spirit of cooperation and reinforce the feeling of security in the community.
⭕ The visit concluded with an inspection of the construction works at the Shindi Community Police Department, where Major Khorasani praised the efforts made in the construction and construction works. He emphasized his commitment to overcoming all obstacles at work to ensure continuous improvement in performance. He stressed that the next steps include moving to the locality of Al-Matma to complete the works and expand the scope of cooperation with the community.
