What is addiction?

Addiction is a psychological and physical condition that leaves a person unable to control certain behaviors, causing them to continue them despite negative consequences. Addiction can include substances such as drugs and alcohol, or behaviors such as gambling or social media use.

Deterioration of physical and mental health.

Increased risk of chronic diseases.

Problems with the nervous system and brain.

Deterioration of family and social relationships.
