White Nile Governor discusses with Tarco Air Cargo representative in Kosti ways of operating a fleet to transport goods and passengers in the state.

Mr. Omar Al-Khalifa Abdullah, Governor of White Nile State, met this evening at Barbak Guest House with a delegation from Tarco Air Cargo Company, the state office, headed by Engineer Ahmed Mirghani Hamed, Director of Tarco Cargo Office in Kosti, in the presence of Mr. Abdel Basset Jaafar, Director of the State Public Transport and Oil Department, and a group of departments from the Ministry of Finance and Oil.

The Tarco Air Cargo delegation in Kosti has presented a proposal to the state governor regarding the company's desire to operate flights to transport cargo and passengers to the state via Kanana Air Base in Port Sudan City in partnership with the state government after completion of technical studies and approval from relevant authorities.

During the meeting, White Nile Governor Omar Al-Khalifa welcomed the offer submitted by Tarco Air Cargo Company in Kosti and announced the state's readiness to provide the necessary support to the company in order to implement this program to serve the people of the state and contribute to meeting the necessary needs of the White Nile.

While Engineer Ahmed Mirghani Hamed, Director of Tarco Air Cargo Office in Kosti, said that this initiative of Tarco office in Kosti came after the approval of the company's management and to activate partnership operations with the state government to organize flights to the city of Port Sudan for the transportation of goods and passengers in order to provide strategic goods and medicines and contribute to alleviating the suffering of the population due to the security conditions that the region is going through and the suffering of citizens due to the shortage of strategic goods, congratulating the governor of the state who welcomed the idea and promised to exert all efforts to activate air work at Kenana airport and allocate part of it to civil aviation as part of realizing this partnership with the state government and the air base.
