White Nile Governor Inaugurates Military Hospital in Tandelti Town
Mr. Omar Al-Khalifa Abdullah, Governor of White Nile State, accompanied by members of the security and local committee, members of the state government, Dr. Al-Zein Saad Adam, Director General and Minister-designate of the Ministry of Health and Social Development, Mr. Hisham Al-Sheikh, Executive Director of Tandelti Locality, and Mr. Al-Nur Mustafa, Director of the Zakat Office in the state, inaugurated yesterday the military hospital in Tandelti City, which was established with the support of the ministry of the state government, the leadership of the 18th Infantry Division and the Ministry of Health in the state.
The White Nile Governor said the opening of the Tandelti Military Hospital coincides with the celebrations of military holidays by the state and the 18th Division. He stressed that the hospital was allocated by the state government and was equipped with the latest medical equipment and facilities in coordination between the state Ministry of Health.
And the Kosti Medical Arms Hospital will provide medical services to the armed forces, regular forces and citizens of the locality, especially dialysis patients. He added that there is a protocol that will be signed between the Ministry of Health, Health Insurance and Health Insurance. The Medical Corps and the Zakat Office, to integrate the roles and efforts to provide medical services to citizens in general and members of the armed forces in particular.
For his part, Major General Sami Al-Tayeb Sayyed Ahmed, Commander of the 18th Infantry Division, confirmed that the Tandelti Military Hospital is a complement to providing medical services to the western sector and those injured during the operations. The division commander expressed his thanks to the state government, the Ministry of Health, the locality of Tandelati and the Zakat Office for equipping the hospital with the latest medical specifications and supporting it with medicines and medical equipment, he noted, until the administration of the Kosti Arms Medical Hospital undertakes the modalities of carrying out the work at the hospital.
In the same context, Dr. Al-Zein Saad Adam, Director General and Minister in charge of the Ministry of Health and Social Development in the state, explained that the opening of the military hospital comes within the plan of the health sector in the state to pay attention to the treatment of members of the armed forces and the wounded during the military operations in the Battle of Karama. He said that the ministry would continue to support and support the armed forces with medicines, equipment and medical personnel.
