White Nile Health celebrates World Day for Safety and Health at Work in the state
Dr. Al-Zein Saad Adam, Director General of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of White Nile State, addressed the minister in charge this afternoon at the ministry buildings in Barbek, on the activities celebration of World Day for Safety and Health at Work. , which was organized by the Department of Basic Health Care, Department of Occupational Safety and Health, under the slogan The impact of climate change on occupational safety and health, with the participation of Lviv of organizations, companies and institutions concerned.
The state Minister of Health and Social Development said that the celebration of this day confirms the ministry's interest in occupational safety values in private and public institutions. We take advantage of this celebration to express education and empowerment of workers on principles and procedures. of workplace safety through effective communication with all institutions to protect workers through educational outreach aimed at improving workplace protection and safety programs. Commending the state government, led by Mr. Omar Al-Khalifa Abdullah, the state governor, for its focus on health. and sponsoring its programs, appreciating the role of health sector workers in supporting the achievement of public, preventive and occupational health.
At the same level, Dr. Reem Ahmed Hussein, Director of Basic Health Care at the State Ministry of Health, praised the organizations and companies participating in the celebration of the World Safety and Health Day at the work and the lives of workers this World Labor Day. Health Day, highlighting the effective role of occupational health in carrying out medical examinations to prevent disasters and protect against epidemics and other epidemiological diseases.
Dr. Nisreen Omar, Head of the Occupational Health and Safety Department, expressed her thanks to all the occupational health and safety organizations and partners who supported her administration in holding the activities of this celebration and supporting the worker sector and the group of factories operating in the state, which has the highest honor to protect workers and their safety.
During the celebration, a number of health sector workers were honored, and the Minister of Health and several departments of the ministry were honored by the Islamic Insurance Company for their pioneering role in the implementation of workplace safety programs in the state.
