Who is responsible for receiving torn notes from banks – Final processing – ✍️ Khaled Fadl Al-Sayyid

Another suffering added to the Sudanese citizen is represented by the circulation of banknotes torn and damaged upon receipt from banks, for which the citizen is solely responsible, whether for salaries, pensions or other types of cash disbursements. As a result, problems, discussions and quarrels began between the citizen and bank employees during the disbursement or return of torn and damaged items.

Accusations regarding the spread of this phenomenon have affected some banks, as some considered this to be a reason for the exacerbation of the phenomenon. The accusations also affected some traders, confirming that some of them insert torn amounts of money in a healthy exaggeration, which makes the citizen bear the loss alone when receiving these amounts from banks.

The banks, for their part, denied the accusation of giving citizens damaged or torn amounts, and confirmed that some of the amounts were partially torn, and blamed citizens for the deterioration of paper money due to Misuse and misuse and failure to keep it written on the back causes it to lose its strength compared to the dollar, whose strength comes from any tear, damage or misuse. The consequences are the responsibility of its owner.

Between these accusations between banks and traders on the generalized phenomenon of torn and damaged money, the citizen is lost, because he is above all wronged, because this phenomenon has become a scarecrow that everyone fears.

This phenomenon, if not dealt with with the required speed, leads to a loss of trust between the citizen and the banks or entities that deal with cash. Signs of a loss of trust between citizens and banks are starting to appear clearly. We now see some citizens reviewing their financial amounts before leaving the bank and they are worried.

This dangerous phenomenon that we encounter on a daily basis and in our lives when receiving cash amounts requires us to pay attention to it and find solutions as quickly as possible.

These are amounts that are not one or two pieces of paper. The larger the amount withdrawn, the larger these amounts are, which creates fear among citizens when withdrawing money from banks.

Our message to the relevant authorities is to pay attention to this problem and find solutions and treatments as quickly as possible so that the citizen and the State do not suffer any harm.
