“The repetition of the disaster of torrents and rains in Bab Hamad and many towns and villages in the Northern State and the Nile State in the last three years has proven the truth of our modest expectations, and now we badly need to start from scratch by developing a serious climate adaptation strategy in Sudan instead of the fire-fighting policies that are being implemented, it is utter stupidity to face these environmental challenges, if they exist. There is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great.
