Who sets the date for secondary school exams? – The edge of the sword – ✍️ Muhammad Al-Sadiq
Dear brother, Professor Muhammad Al-Sadiq. The one who has an honest word and constructive and targeted criticism, who does not fear the blame of blame by telling the truth. I hope you will allow me the pleasure of writing through your widely read and popular column to speak to an issue around which there is much confusion and discussion, namely:
Concerning the Federal Ministry of Education and regarding the recent decision to hold the Sudanese Certificate examinations on December 28, 2024, which are the postponed examinations of the academic year. 2022/2023.
Which was scheduled for June 10, 2023, and before continuing on this subject, we must stop briefly with the late minister. The simple and humble person and true teacher, the ascetic man who was forgiven, God willing, Mahmoud Sir Al-Khattam Al-Huri, who at one time assumed three administrations:
Minister of Education, Ministry Undersecretary and Examinations Secretary of Sudan
With only one salary and no compensation.
This minister, who left our mortal world in complete calm, while residing in a very modest hotel in Cairo, he and his family, completely far from glamor and lavish spending, and completely far from the lights of power .
He left life as a simple teacher who lived simple and left it simple, may God have mercy on him. The humble person among his fellow teachers
When a strong rumor spread some time ago about the fixing date of the Sudanese certificate exams
He issued a strong statement denying the decision and stating verbatim that setting the date of the Sudan Certificate examinations is the responsibility of the Sudan Examinations Committee, in accordance with its working regulations. However, a few days ago we heard news on national television. It is reported that the Federal Ministry of Education has set December 28, 2024 as the date for the Sudanese certificate examinations, without any details.
Immediately after the news spread, a person we saw for the first time appeared
Once it was unclear who he was and in what capacity he spoke. He didn't mention anything other than rebroadcasting the information a second time, and he was content with that. The question that arises is who it is. person and in what capacity is she speaking?
Who appointed him, despite known reports that certification exams are determined by the Sudan Examinations Committee?
May God have mercy on Al-Houri, this chaste minister. Who was concerned about the question of teachers, despite the conspiracies of this group which were known to everyone and which did not go by a day without strike after strike being announced.
The late Minister Al-Houri was a living model of humility and chastity. We ask Almighty God for his mercy and forgiveness.
Finally, we call on the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Al-Burhan, to accelerate the appointment of a Minister of Education, and there are appointments of qualified people and distinguished figures in education, and may God grant us success.
Issa Al Sarraj
