Youth for Peace and Capacity Building organization organizes Training of Trainees (TOT) training course at the hall of the Humanitarian Aid Commission in Gedaref State
Ms. Wissal Hamed Hasballah, President of the Youth Organization for Peace and Capacity Building, said that the project is a continuation of her organized efforts in the field of humanitarian work.
And a smart partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council. She added that the trainees' course is part of the activities of an integrated project working in the field of protection targeting a total number of (505) targets. The Youth for Peace and Capacity Building organization said the project includes the distribution of clothing to (200) school-age children, aged 6 to 14, in shelters for displaced people in Sennar State, in Gedaref State, in addition to organizing social activities. awareness sessions on gender-based violence and prevention of sexual abuse and exploitation (PSEA).
She explained that the course targeted a certain number (15) of women working in women-led organizations. They should work to expand the scope of training for a certain number (90) of women in the targeted communities.
We appreciate the efforts of Ms. Zahraa Marghani Mohammed, Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid in Gedaref State, and her cooperation and understanding of humanitarian work as well as her limited support to national organizations.
She also commended the cooperation and coordination between the Humanitarian Aid Commission in Gedaref, Sennar State, in order to achieve the objectives of humanitarian work for the displaced people of Sennar State.
Furthermore, Professor Abdel Samie Khalil Abdel Rasoul, on behalf of the Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid in Gedaref State, praised the efforts of the Youth Organization for Peace and Capacity Building, as it works in the area of training and capacity building of those working in the field of humanitarian work in Gedaref, expressing hope that the course will achieve the desired objective and contribute to crisis management and outreach… State Cooperation of the Gedaref Humanitarian Aid Commission and its employees is confirmed with all national organizations. working in the state so that they can fully play their role in the areas of humanitarian and voluntary work in the state.
